The Front Nine -
Hole 3
This
is the third hole, a par 4. This hole is
a bit more challenging as it is much
narrower than most on this course. The views are from
tee box, the middle of the fairway at
about 200 yards, and at the green
looking from the right side. On this hole
you again need to drive straight or a
bit to the right as the fairway has a
pretty good slope to it. Then chip onto
the green dogged by another two bunkers.
If you drive to the
middle of the fairway, chances are good
that you will roll down and to the left.
From On the left is those railroad
tracks again and a good number of heavy
trees. There is a lot of room down
there, but the heavy trees, slope of the
fairway and the green setting up high,
make it a good challenge to get up there
in one shot. To the right of the green
is the number four tee. Behind the green
there is some room, not much before you
hit the wheat fields, which are out of
bounds.
